The song was written by Minaj, Nadir Khayat, Jimmy Thornfeldt and Geraldo Sandell, and was produced by RedOne and Jimmy Joker. The song was released with the rest of the album on April 2, 2012, and as a radio single on October 18, 2012 in France. The song's lyrics contain no Explicit content.
"Automatic (Reloaded)" rumors[]
In July of 2012, rumors started spreading around that Nicki would release a re-worked version of "Automatic" called "Automatic (Reloaded)" featuring Misha B. The single was to celebrate Nicki and Misha B's UK Pink Friday: Reloaded Tour. The single was rumored to be released in September of 2012. Misha B cleared up the rumors stating that she never heard about that happening. Nicki nor her label ever said anything about it either.
