Pink Friday 3 is the upcoming sixth studio album by Nicki Minaj. The album has been confirmed to be released in early 2025, with a corresponding tour commencing sometime in 2026.
Background[]
During one of the shows of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, Minaj revealed that her sixth studio album would have less of a wait time, with her previous album Pink Friday 2 taking 5 years to be released.
On August 29th, 2024, Minaj announced the release of a deluxe album, "Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded" with an original release date of September 13th, 2024.
The deluxe would have featured 7-8 tracks including "Anxiety", "Mamita" and "Surprise" (feat. Lourdiz). These songs have either been reworked into the final installment of Minaj’s fifth studio album, or will be incorporated into Pink Friday 3.
On September 16th, 2024, Minaj announced the cancellation of her Gag City Reloaded deluxe album and announced that she will instead create an entirely new studio album titled Pink Friday 3 which will be released in early 2025. Minaj stated that "the new music is just too good to be thrown away on a deluxe album."
On October 24, 2024, Minaj posted a video on her Instagram stories with Skeng in the studio, leading fans to believe a collaboration for the album was in the works.
