The Hoodstars (stylized as The Hood$tars) were a short-lived, New York-based rap group. The group's members were Loustar, Seven Up, Nicki Minaj and Scaff B (better known as SB or Scaff Beezy).

Background

In the early 2000s, Minaj joined Lou$tar’s rap group "The Hoodstars," which also included Seven Up and Safaree Samuels. When the group decided to go their separate ways, Loustar continued to pursue music, Seven Up went to prison at Coxsackie Correctional Facility in New York, and Minaj continued to work day jobs in order to buy studio time, now with Samuels supporting her as a hype man.

-In the early 2000's Nicki had joined Lou$tar’s rap group “The Hoodstars”, also featured rapper Seven Up and her ex rumored fiancée [[Safaree Samuels]] who she took on as a hype man after leaving the group until they ended up calling it quits in September 2014, they was signed by Full force productions. when the group decided to go there separate ways full force decided they wanted Nicki as a solo artist, not working out Nicki decided to go and do her own thing  [[Seven Up]] ended up getting locked up,[[Loustar]] went to do his own thing in music and [[Safaree Samuels]] became Nicki's hype man / boyfriend, but in September 2014 Nicki and safaree ended up going there separate ways as well growing apart  [[Safaree Samuels]] is working on his solo career while his ex fiancée [[Nicki Minaj]] is at the height of her career and in relationship with rapper Meek Mill ( Robert Rihmeek Williams ) and converting and having meetings with Jayz and Beyoncé
